We are looking for candidates for the position of Resident Engineer at a Large Telecom Multinational Company.

Position Title: Resident Engineer
Number of positions: 3
Sector: Telecom
Company Type: Large Multinational Company
Position Location: Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi (one position in each city)
Salary: 50K to 110K — may vary

Essential Requirements:
— About 6 to 8 years work experience as Engineer/Resident Engineer etc
— Electrical Engineering degree
— Offices/Buildings/Hotels experience related to Electrical/Power (electrical installations/maintenance and safety)— Recent experience in large multinational or similar organizations (in any sector)

— Experience working as Head of Engineering for the premises/facilities/organization — or one step below preferred


Other requirements/preferences:
— Have 6 to 8 years of Electrical Engineering experience.
— Hold a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputable institute.
— Proficiency in operating MS Office suite
— Sound verbal and written communication skills
— Capability to carry out tests of Power at main DB and transformer

Job Description:
— Prepare electrical standards for all electrical installations, buildings and new build outs falling under Admin’s domain.
— Ensure all existing and new purchases (electrical fittings, wirings and fixtures) meet the safety and performance standards.
— Carry out/monitor/verify electrical work of all assigned company locations, offices, data centers etc.
— Plan and execute preventive / corrective maintenance activities of electrical items, power cables etc.
— Provide power supply to UPS and other IT equipment in Data centers and other company locations whenever required.
— Be the point of contact for all electrical installations/safety in the assigned region.
— Prepare electrical processes, reports, and related data of all company locations.
— Prepare technical specifications for the required electrical equipment such as power generators, transformers and motors etc.
— Investigate electrical problems and suggest solutions as and when required.
— Diagnose reasons of malfunction of electrical equipment including Gensets/HVAC equipment etc.

The ideal candidate should:
— Hold a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputable institute.
— Have six to eight years of Electrical Engineering experience.
— Be a strong team player and able to communicate with diverse stakeholders.
