We require a Jr. Database Administrator. The Job Description and required skills are as follow:
Note: This is Pakistan —- Lahore based job.
Job Description (Jr. DBA)
• Assist Sr. DBA.
• Assist in the definition and implementation of database standards.
• Develop new or maintain existing databases based on specifications.
• Maintain Server information.
• Monitor and reporting of services on live servers.
• Monitor database changes from Development, QA to Production.
• Monitor databases for errors and perform problem determination when necessary.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science.
• Minimum 1 year experience.
• Experience writing SQL, procedures and functions.
• Ability to work in team environment.
• Relational database analysis and modelling experience.
• Understanding of database backup and recovery techniques.
• Can work in fast paced production or operational system arena.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
