Position Title:

  • Drilling Engineer

Contract Type:

  • 2 years contract (Extension/ Absorption based on demonstrated performance)

Salary Range:

  • Rs 90,000 – Rs 150,000 (Monthly)

Other Benefits:

  • Substantial, depending on performance, qualification and experience.

Location:

  • Rig Site/Head Office Islamabad


Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelors/ Masters Degree in Petroleum Engineering (Minimum GPA 3 or grade 75%) having at least 5-10 years of experience with reputable organizations as Drilling Engineer in Oil & Gas Sector preferably on Rig/Well.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all operations on rig/well site.
  • Preparation of drilling/workovers program.
  • Coordinate/ supervise the drilling operations, appraise the progress and submit drilling reports to the management.
  • Reviewing the agreements/contracts for drilling services such as cementation, wire line logging, tubular running services, packer setting services etc.
  • Monitoring/designing the casing, bit hydraulic mud and drilling parameters.
  • Planning/supervising the cementation, logging and perforations operations.
  • Managing the drilling services.
  • Monitor the drilling progress in non operated venture.

Competencies:

  • Practical knowledge of oil & gas related drilling softwares.
  • Designing of well.
  • Prepare specification of material & analyzing quotation.
  • Ability to groom fresh engineers.
  • Must have good communication and writing skills.
  • On job supervision.
  • Must have strong analytical skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively in team.
