PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE

·         MBA with minimum of 6-8 years of experience in Marketing / Category Management experience with an FMCG.

·         Strong experience in Developing and implementing a strategy for all products in category.

·         A proven track record in building brands and launching new products.

·         Good communication and written English skills.

·         Basic level of marketing competencies. Some of these are consumer insights, concept development, consumer understanding & market research, advertising & communication, media & communication, packaging development, consumer promotion and project management.

·         A team player with strong inter-personal skills.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Responsible for developing and implementing a strategy to drive year round business for all products in category.

·         Develop and implement a strategy to drive year round business for all products in category

·         Work closely with the sales team to develop the brand within the major multiples ( as a regional player) and in executing strategic priorities with retailers

·         Identify and execute strategies to maximize channel presence

·         Work closely with marketing team for new product development

·         Increase category market share as well as category revenue growth

·         Improve Brand recognition

·         Implements new market segment opportunities and leads the organization through new product Launches
