Job Description:  Designer/ Sr. Developer – Artesia/ SOA/ J2EE

Job Description •             Detail Design & Test specification for the agreed solution to be built around Digital Asset Management (DAM)/ Artesia Technologies
•             Development of the agreed solution in collaboration with a team
•             Perform Integration & System Testing for the agreed solution
•             Ensure conformance to organisation and project quality processes
•             Support customer relationship
•             Technical and process documentation
•             Adherence to Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Knowledge competencies
                •             Artesia/ Digital Asset Management
•             Websphere Process Server (WPS)
•             WebSphere ESB
•             SOA Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and all related technologies/ standards – web services, messaging, XML, XSL, Soap, WSDL
•             IBM WebSphere MQ
Capabilities
                (Covered in other sections for this level)
Qualification       BE/ B.Tech/ ME/ M.Tech/ MCA
Experience and skill set •             Around 4-6 years in Digital Asset Management/ J2EE Enterprise systems.
•             Hands-on experience in designing and implementing a DAM solution structure for enterprise implementations.
•             Hands-on experience with using the API and web services and Metadata editing features provided by Artesia.
•             Hands-on experience with Artesia 6.5 or later.
•             Migration experience from Artesia 5.x to 6.x.
•             Hands-on experience in Federated Search.
•             Experience in design & development using RUP and SOA methodologies, like SOMA. Good knowledge of SOA & object-oriented design and programming.
•             Hands on to UML, class diagrams, sequence diagrams etc.
•             Experience in integrating Legacy application to latest technology.
•             Excellent knowledge and hands on of JEE5 specification, Design patterns.
•             Up-to-date with current trends in J2EE related areas (Struts JSF, Hibernate, Spring etc.)
Tools
•             Rational Software Architect/ Modeler or equivalent Tools.
•             WSAD, WebSphere Integration Developer, Websphere File Adapter, XML Spy or equivalent J2EE Platforms
•             JMS, JSP, Servlet, HTML, XML, XSLT, Java, EJB, JMX, Hibernate, Web Services
•             BPEL/ Mediation Flow
•             Familiarity with the GUI design tools and standards
•             Familiarity with Testing tools (Mercury suite, Rational Suite)
Preferred Inter-personal skills   •             Strong communication skills
•             Leadership skills
•             Should show strong initiative and be highly self-motivated
