We are seeking a qualified Procurement Specialist to strategically source suppliers and procure goods & services at the best total cost of ownership while maintaining existing IT contracts.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead strategic sourcing activities for IT related purchases
2. Develop RFI/RFP’s for new and existing products and/or services
3. Negotiate vendor contracts, reviews vendor performance to assure contract adherence and drive continuous improvements
4. Deliver cost savings to EBIT
5. Deliver cash savings by improving payment terms
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelors degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
2. Five years proven procurement experience
3. Strong negotiation skills with proven success in negotiating terms and conditions and service contracts
4. Strong analytical skills
5. Proficiency with MS Word, Excel (pivot tables), and Word
6. Working experience with SmartStream or other ERP systems
7. 5-10% Overnight travel required
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
1. Lean Six Sigma capabilities
2. SAP experience
