Regrettably, mostly do not, which is why employers particularly search for people who work well with other and can manage the conflict openly and honestly. Employers need to hire candidates that can manage themselves in conflict, but also do what they can to lessen it. This is why you may be inquired about your ability to manage conflict in this very usual behavioral interview query.
Query for behavioral interview: Elaborate a situation where you had a dispute with another person, and how you dealt with it. What was the result? How did you feel about the entire situation?
Be very careful, you do not desire to sound bitter, angry or resentful. Sound self0assured instead. Prove that you know that dispute occurs, and when it does you are prepared to figure it out. You will also want to neglect instances of:
- Conflict with customers.
- Conflict with employers.
Ideally the dispute must be professional, not personal, and concentrate either on exterior vendors, unrelated sections, or colleagues with whom you have an outstanding relationship.
You should be willing enough to resolve the conflict. You should never be sound bitter about the past experience and blames. You are generally stating a professional problem that happened, and you are indicating the employer that you are an issue solver.
