In perfect world, we would be enclosed by likeminded persons of whom we click with on a deeper stage. The persons we work with would be seems to our best friends, and once the day was over all of you would visit out and celebrate the correctness of your work atmosphere.

Unluckily, most persons are unfathomably frustrating. There is a reason that many persons work in cubicles – so that you can implement your job and go home, without the continued reminder that our colleagues are sharing your air.

Do You Give Priority to Work as a Group?

Interviewers would like to see how you feel about working with others. The “Do you give priority to work in a group or independently” query is common at various job interviews, particularly if there is considerable concentration on meetings or collaboration.

Yet, the answer is not as direct as you would think. You should not respond like this “I prefer to work as a group. Groups accomplish more and give remarkable ideas…” etc. It sounds like that is a great answer, and interviewers may even admit that answer, but you are not going to wow any interviewer with that answer, and of course your objective is to really impress them. Rather than, your response should be closed to the following:

“It relies on the task. When it come ups to brainstorming, groups produce remarkable ideas with various input, and groups can mention person’s strengths. But I surely amuse working on my activities as an individual as well, since in various ways it takes the capability to work alone for the group to completely succeed.”

Even though some industries may claim that they need someone that is a “team player,” the reality is that someone that claims they give priority not to work alone is not going to work out good in the corporate atmosphere. So the response above includes both qualities.
