When you are unemployed, you have to field a lot of queries over why you have been out of work and why you left your previous job. These queries can be very complex to answer, because the truthful response is generally fairly negative.
It can be merely as tough to answer queries when you are still working, but actively seeking out other chances. When that appears, industries will wonder why you are leaving a boss that has not laid you off. If you respond this query poorly, you may appear to be an uncommitted worker.
How to Answer
Given this answer is truthful; the suitable answer you can provide is “I have uncertainties about the long term viability of the industry.” You are leaving because you do not hope the industry to succeed in the long term. This response will not always work, though, because you may simply be working at a industry that is crazy victorious. So you will have to provide an answer that does not indicate disloyalty to the industry, but still acts as an appropriate reason to leave.
Good Answer
“The industry has made few significant department shifts currently, and though my character is the same, I am surrounded by new workers, new philosophies, new leaders etc. It is like a new job. I decided that now would be the best chance to seek the employment with an industry that better suits my long term aims in contrast to my short term aims.”
Any response that does not concentrate on disliking your present industry is a good answer. If you can’t use the answer above, you can state “I am seeking for a position with more long term growth chances.” That reply will generally usually suffice.
