Power Generation using Micro-Hydro Turgo Turbine (Final Year Project)
The basic principle of hydropower is that when water is obtained from a low level to a level that the water pressure transportable be used for work. When the water pressure may be to move a mechanical element, the movement involves the conversion of the potential energy of the water into mechanical energy. Hydraulic turbines convert water pressure into mechanical energy of the shaft, which can be used to operate a power generator, a mill or other suitable device.
