My role includes assisting buyers in the execution of all related merchandising activities including attending trade events to meet suppliers, creating and placing merchandise orders, monitoring and tracking orders and details, and communicating any order revision to suppliers.
I aid in the development and implementation of seasonal merchandise assortment strategies and analysis of sales and profit, I assist buyers in managing plans for stock level; reacting to changes in demand and logistics. Part of my role includes training sales associates on brand and product knowledge.
