Description

AKU is looking for a Specialist, Human Resources
Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, you will be responsible for managing relationships with vendors or other third-party service providers. This might include negotiating contracts, reviewing invoices, and ensuring that all parties involved are happy with the services being provided.
Other responsibilities include:
monitoring the quality of work performed by external vendors to ensure that it meets organization standards
reviewing bids from vendors for new projects or contracts and recommending which bids should be accepted based on price, qualifications of the vendor, and other factors in coordination with PSCMD
communicating with clients to help them understand project details and progress, and answering any questions they may have
managing a team of employees who work with vendors to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget requirements
negotiating contracts with vendors to ensure fair payment terms and conditions
managing the recruitment and training of new vendors as needed
providing information about new technologies and industry trends to help improve efficiency and productivity
coordinating with human resources departments to hire new staff members or terminate existing employees as needed
conducting performance evaluations of external vendors to ensure they are meeting organization standards
Requirements
You should have/be:
a Masters degree in Business Administration, or equivalent
at least five years of relevant recruitment experience with a large and multi-discipline organization
· proven track record of providing support to a large, multi-site, multi-disciplined business
· sound negotiable skills
· proficient in the use of IT, good working knowledge of Microsoft Applications such as Word, Excel & Outlook
· problem solving and managing tight deadlines
· knowledge of the wider organisation and how it functions within the external environment
· able to communicate effectively with people at all levels
· able to engage and influence peers and senior stakeholders across the organisation
· able to provide management information when requested
able to manage multiple tasks effectively and focus on priorities and deliverables
able to always consider the impact on the customer
This is a close-ended position for a 06 months contract.
