Dr. Ziauddin Group of Hospitals and Universities is hiring for “Senior Biomedical Engineer” based at Head Office, Karachi.

Job Summary:

Function as primary administrative contact with the biomedical engineering department. Senior Biomedical Engineer supervises repair maintenance activities performed by Biomedical Staff. Provide onsite leadership for all components of the medical equipment management program. Participate in development of departmental & entity continuous quality improvement initiatives. Maximize patient safety by supporting proper use, application & operational performance of patient care equipment. Act as technical resource to biomedical staff for repair & maintenance activities on selected equipment & related system.

Responsibilities:
· Responsible for repair & maintenance of medical equipment & particular responsibilities within the specialties of the appointee
· Under supervision of senior supervisor, carryout planned preventive maintenance inspection & commissions & test in accordance with the departmental procedures
· Prepare spare parts list

Other Requirements:

Experience: 5 to 9 years of experience in B.E/ B.Tech/DAE
Educations: B.E Biomedical/ Electronic or B.Tech Biomedical/ Electronic or D.A.E Electronic/Biomedical
Knowledge & Competencies: Courses related to field work, Proficient at using computer specially MS Office.
