We're Hiring: Compliance Officer
Location: Faisalabad | Reports to: Manager Operational Compliance

ASA Microfinance Bank is seeking a detail-oriented and diligent Compliance Officer to support the Compliance Department in ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and AML/CFT standards. The role will work closely with branches and operational teams to identify compliance risks, strengthen controls, and support effective compliance risk management across the Bank.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct branch and operational reviews to identify and monitor compliance risks
2. Support Compliance Self-Assessments (CSA) through coordination, review, and follow-up
3. Identify non-compliances, control gaps, and recommend corrective actions
4. Verify customer screening against applicable blacklists and watchlists
5. Support AML/CFT/CPF monitoring at branch and operational levels
6. Maintain compliance records, visit reports, and supporting documentation
7. Review audit, risk, and compliance reports to identify recurring issues

Qualifications & Experience:
. Bachelor's degree from an HEC-recognized university (Master's preferred)
. 2-3 years of experience in a Compliance function, preferably within banking or microfinance

Core Competencies:
- Strong understanding of regulatory and operational compliance requirements
- Familiarity with AML/CFT frameworks and compliance monitoring processes
- Attention to detail with strong documentation and reporting skills
- Ability to identify risks and escalate issues effectively
- Collaborative and capable of working across branches and functions
