Position: Senior Officer - Finance

Senior Officer - Finance (UAE Back Office, Karachi) ensures accurate, timely, and compliant financial processing and reporting for UAE operations through centralized support. The role maintains strong financial controls, supports decision-making with reliable data, and ensures effective coordination between Karachi and UAE stakeholders.

Experience:
1-2 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a back-office or shared services environment.

Responsibilities
. Process and record financial transactions accurately, including invoices, payments, and journal entries.
. Maintain and update financial records and filing systems to ensure data is organized and easily accessible.
. Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for UAE operations.
. Ensure timely reconciliations of bank accounts, ledgers, and intercompany balances.
. Support accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoicing and collections follow-ups.
. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support financial planning,
. Ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls, and UAE regulatory requirements.
. Maintain proper financial documentation and audit trails for internal and external audits.
. Assist in tax-related matters and reporting requirements, where applicable.

Qualification
. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce (Master's degree preferred).
. Professional certifications such as ACCA, CA, or CMA will be an advantage.
