Job Opening at IMTIAZ: IT Support Officer
Location: Head Office - Karachi
We are looking for a competent and proactive IT Support Officer to join our Head Office team in Karachi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth IT operations and providing technical support to internal users.
Key Responsibilities
. Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
. Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and IT equipment
. Troubleshoot system and network problems in a timely manner
. Manage user accounts, access rights, and email configurations
. Ensure smooth functioning of LAN/WAN and internet connectivity
. Maintain IT inventory, documentation, and asset records
. Support system upgrades, patches, and new software rollouts
. Ensure data security, backups, and compliance with IT policies
Requirements
. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT or related field
. 1-3 years of experience in IT Support / Helpdesk / Technical Support
Strong knowledge of:
. Windows OS & MS Office
. Basic networking (LAN/WAN, routers, switches)
. Hardware troubleshooting
. Good communication and problem-solving skills
. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
