Key Responsibilities:
Maintain books of accounts for multiple business entities and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
Manage cash and bank payments, receipts, deposits, and supporting documentation.
Assist in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payment processing.
Prepare and monitor budgets, track actual expenditures against approved budgets, and perform variance analysis.
Review expense and payment requests to ensure compliance with approved budgets and internal approval processes.
Prepare periodic financial reports, expense summaries, and management reports.
Monitor receivables, payables, and outstanding balances to ensure timely settlements.
Coordinate statutory compliance documentation with senior management and ensure timely completion of regulatory filings and record-keeping.
Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline. Part-qualified ACCA, ACMA, CA Inter, or PIPFA will be an added advantage.
1–3 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or commercial operations, preferably within the FMCG industry.
Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control.
Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, inventory accounting, and month-end closing activities.
Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) will be preferred.
Basic understanding of taxation, statutory compliance, and financial regulations.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
