Database Administrator – Karachi

REON Energy Solutions (A Division of Dawood Lawrencepur Limited) is looking for a “DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR”

Location: Head Office, Karachi


Education: Bachelor in Computer Science and Oracle OCP Certification

Experience: 3 – 4 years’ working experience with Oracle9i, Oracle10g databases and utilities on Linux and Windows Servers.


Main responsibilities include:

• Oracle System Administration (DBA)

• Oracle Financials Administration (Functional)
• End User Level Training (Oracle Financials)
• Functional R & D for new scenario to handle accounting in GL / AR / AP 
• Customized Reports development 
• Data Extraction on basis of requirement
• Website Administration 

Other responsibilities include: backup and recovery procedures, maintenance, tuning, support, replication management, optimization, monitoring, security administration, installation and upgrades and research into new database technologies.
