One of our Clients is looking for Buyer Indirect Material & Services for the following role.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
·         MBA Degree  – Marketing/ Supply Chain with minimum 5 years of experience in purchase in purchase in any MNC/ FMCG, preferably in Indirect Procurement
·         AGE NOT MORE THAN 31 YEARS
·         Experience in the use of computers and extensive knowledge of SAP, MS-office applications.
§  in any MNC/ FMCG, preferably in Direct Procurement/ Packaging Materials
§  IM&S/ Indirect procurement understanding
§  Strong communication skills.
§  Advanced negotiation and influencing skills.
§  Ability to think strategically.
§  Ability to work closely with other departments within the organization, specially marketing.
§  Ability to identify, initiate and implement corrective actions.
§  Broad planning and cross-functional understanding.
§  Project management experience.
§  Strong analytical skills.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
·         Explore available technology and implement best practices related to IM&S purchasing activities.
·         Strengthening procurement area of IM&S purchasing. Introduce it in the company and strongly liaison with Marketing, Engineering, Sales and Plant.
·         Monitoring supplier quality and delivery performance.
·         Maintain up to date supply base information database.
·         Maintaining competitive pricing.
·         Leading yearly cost reductions activities.
·         Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations; assure all items brokered have proper paperwork and documentation.
·         Negotiating long term agreements.
