Our client, a large industrial unit in engineering sector, is looking for dynamic individual with strong leadership, communication, inter-personal and management skills who will successfully contribute towards the achievement of company objectives:
Position: Assistant Manager Supply Chain Management (Karachi based Position)
Education: Min. Graduate and MBA (Supply Chain) will be preferable
Experience: 4-6 years experience with large setups in Supply Chain/Procurement
Age: 25-35
Job Responsibility:
  • Identify new suppliers, building beneficial relationships with suppliers
  • Sourcing and developing imports materials wise
  • Manages and oversees overall supply chain operations, including Budgeting, Planning, Purchasing and Inventory of materials, Distribution, Packaging, Logistics, Quality issues.

  • Ensure the quality of imported materials
  • Close liasion with Sales and Production department.
  • Leads creation and effective execution of annual savings plan to reduce purchasing costs year-over-year, and reports progress monthly per corporate reporting requirements.

  • Planning for material requirement
  • Material/Prodcuts Import related working (L/C established of imported material Bank dealing for import, Clearing  forwarding meeting & clearance of Material Export documentation)
