– The person will be responsible for architecture, design and implementation of Business Intelligence Projects. – Should have strong BI background with good working experience on the implementation of BI Technologies.

– He/She will have to ensure that the design & architecture of the project is as per the industry best practices and is in sync with rest of BI implementation.
– The Person should also have very good presentation and communication skills and should be adapt at delivering presentations at all Levels.
– Coordinating on key projects outside Pakistan with other Business Units within Telenor Group will also be required.
– Experience Required: 3 – 5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:
– Ensuring that the architecture & design of the assigned projects is harmonized across BI Solutions and is as per industry standard implementations.
– Manage scoping and design of new and existing applications deployed on top of data warehouse.
– Uses skills in data design and modeling techniques to develop the warehouse according to the proposed design.
– Develop business naming standards in line with defined enterprise standards, develop consistent data definitions, standard calculations and derivations.
– Explore and recommend latest BI tools and technologies that are aligned with Business strategy and requirements
– Integrates new business changes and ensures alignment of changes to any affected systems if required.
– Planning of the overall architecture of the solution, including performance considerations, storage selections, data schemas, and subject definitions.
– Uses skills in data design and modeling techniques to develop the warehouse according to the proposed design.
– Identify issues and recommend initiatives to address data quality and data integrity.
– Ensure that the Projects deliver business value and are aligned with the strategy of Telenor Pakistan & Business requirements.
– Identifying opportunities for technology-related improvement based on benchmark data and doing high-level cost benefit analysis.
– Analyze project’s scope for accuracy and relevance with the end user’s requirements and formulate these into robust technical solution.
– Develop, modify, deploy, functionally test and maintain assigned projects according to business users’ requirements.
– Responsible for release & configuration management along with proper documentation including architecture/design documents and user manuals.
– Responsible for maintaining Data Standards and Data Governance across Data Warehouse and BI.
– Identifies issues and recommends initiatives to address data quality and data integrity.
– Manages vendors and ensure strong relationships with vendor to carry out and deliver the projects

* Education/Professional Qualification Degree(s)/Major(s): MCS/BCS/BIT
* Certification(s): Certification in BI will be preferred

Skills required – Projects end-to-end Lifecycle
– Telco BI Solutions & Analytical Tools (BO, Microstrategy, Cognos)
– Understanding of best practices for BI Solutions Design & Architecture
– Vendor Management and Interactions
– Driving and Managing Projects
