Position Title: Database Administrator

Location: TSG, Karachi Office
Work Timings: 1400 – 2300 PST
Experience: 01 – 02 Years in the respective field
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s in CS or IT
Skills Required:
1. Database development and support in MS SQL Server environments.
2. Database Administration in SQL Server ( 2005 and 2008 )
3. Troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc.
4. Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
5. Detect and troubleshoot SQL Server related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space and other resource contention.
6. Backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, DBCC commands, Clustering, Database mirroring, Replication.
7. SQL Database Operational support to tech users
