The UBL Fund Managers is looking for a proactive, result-oriented and experienced team player for the position of Deputy Manager – Alternative Distribution Channel based at Karachi:
The incumbent would be responsible for successful implementation of Corporate Strategies for Alternative Distribution channel management and expansion and also to assess these strategies by implementing, monitoring, reviewing & re-evaluating. The focus has to be on achieving the key objectives of the Distribution Unit which would include but not limited to:
• Liaison with various financial institutions and distributors
• Negotiate and monitor sales targets
• Monitor AUM fluctuations and take adequate measures to curb these variations.
• Channel development & deepening of business with existing distributors
• Expanding product portfolio of existing distributors as new products are
launched
• Introduce new distributors & prepare feasibility to take them on board.
• Reporting at a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
• Long term strategy planning and implementation
An Ideal candidate must have either 4 years Bachelors or MBA in Finance/Strategic Management degree from HEC recognized or foreign university. At least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in distribution channel or working with Bancassurance department or within Financial Investment Advisory roles or Wealth Management units of Commercial Banks.
