Director General of an Islamic research and
Training Institute (IRTI), Saudi Arabia

Our client, a highly respected Islamic Banking Institution
requires a Director General of an (IRTI) to join its
dynamic team in Saudi Arabia- The ideal candidate
has to report to the President of the Group and
will be responsible for managing the Training
Institute as a centre of excellence in Islamic
Economics, Finance and Banking.
Responsibilities:
• Direst the provision of training to
develop the capabilities of professional personnel
in Islamic economics to meet the needs of research
and Shariah-observing agencies_
• Direct the production of the Journal
of the Institute, as a high quality publication

containing leading edge papers in the held of
Islamic economics and Islamic monetary systems..
• Develop and review the organization
of IRTI to ensure work is organized in ways which
optimally streamline workflows and maximize the
efficiency and effectiveness m delivering against
designated areas of accountability
• To organize and co-ordinate basic and
applied research, both inside IRTI and by
commissioning work ir outside intimations, with a
view to developing new and innovative models and
methods for application cif SHARJAH in the fields
of economic, finance and banking,
Requirements:
• Ph-C. in economics, business
administration, finance or any field related to the
business of the institute-
■ Extensive ‘experience including a
proven track record of senior management in the
held of Islamic Economics. Several years of your
experience should be at a senior management level
in a large or medium complex organization,
• Strong qualifications and top level
experience in addressing economic a nd social
development issues.
• Familiarity with the work of other
multilateral and bilateral development finance
institutions-
