Minimum Requirement: B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. 6 years experience of Electrical engineering related maintenance in oil/petrochemical industry particularly in the electrical generation on high voltage distribution. Role : Provides day to day engineering, operational/maintenance advice and support to site engineers on all maintenance/repair works carried out on fields electrical equipment and installations, daily routine and emergency breakdowns. Acts as coordinator for all electrical equipment/installation, plant modifications and maintenance works, and as such assists in the preparation of all related engineering packages. Evaluates contractors/suppliers bids,. Tenders and pre-qualifications. Work covers all production/process/accommodation plants, equipment and associated electrical installations on US/ZK Supercomplex such as : AC alternators and its associated control gear/ancillary equipment, HV and MV switchgear, electrical distribution network, air conditioning systems, uniterruptible power supplies (UPS) battery systems and chargers.
