Position Title: Head of Network Security
Position location: Lahore
Sector: Telecom
Company Type: Large Telecom Multinational Company
Salary Range: 200K to 250K

Essential Requirements:
— About 10 years (or more) experience (including 3 to 4 years on a management position)
— Expertise in design and implementation of IT & Telecom security infrastructure
— Industry Certifications — such as: CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCIE (Security)
— Experience of working on VOIP networks and MPLS networks

Job Responsibilities:
– Expert knowledge in the design and implementation of IT & Telecom security infrastructure
– Knowledge of key threats and countermeasures to protect it especially in telecom sector.
– Demonstrated experience and a successful track record, gained over many years, in security services
– Understanding of Information Systems Security Policy planning, design, implementation and auditing.
– Comprehension experience or complete understanding of Cyber-crimes regulations (Pakistan market
and worldwide)
– Understanding of multi-factor authentication mechanisms such as smart cards, certificates, biometrics,
etc.
– Consulting skills, good communication, presentation and business skills.
– Experience of working on VoIP networks (technologies and topologies being used in traffic termination
and origination)
– Experience of working on MPLS networks
– Business and Technical Risk Assessment including penetration testing
– Provide advice and solutions to IT security challenges
– Responsible for auditing and investigating system use, and providing security policy
– Provide leadership and direction to ensure security is applied in a consistent and appropriate manner
to protect ICT assets
– Be able to support and mentor Team Members
– Have customer facing experience
– BS/BE in Computer/Electrical/Electronics
– Desirable Industry Certifications CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCIE (Security)
– Min 10 years of experience (including 3 to 4 years on a management position)
– Strong closing skills
