One of our Clients is looking for Head of Production – Paints for the following role.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
·         Masters with 10 – 12 years of experience in industrialBachelor Science in Engineering in one or more disciplines; automotive manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, industrial.
·         Prior experience in Paints Industry – Preferable.
·         Ability to develop and implement manufacturing and quality process management techniques.
·         Knowledge of and experience in lean manufacturing / Six Sigma highly desired
·         Effective written and oral communication skills are necessary, along with a passion for manufacturing excellence
·         Experience with self-planning and meeting deadlines
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
·         Develop and manage the processes for the paint shop. 
·         Establish quality control process for the line and oversee procurement of appropriate paint control equipment. 
·         Work with local suppliers and logistics partners to assure compliance with design / manufacturing specifications, as well as on time delivery.
·         Oversee overall manufacturing quality and ensure adherence to ISO standards.
·         Drive efficiency in inventory management of related components and enable just in time delivery when possible.
·         Manage implementation of engineering change orders per direction from engineering.
·         Responsible for coordination activities across organizations to ensure that initiatives are accomplished and the program is successful.
·         Support prototype build process, ensuring conformity to design.
·         Direct workers in measuring / testing the product and process relative to quality and reliability. 
·         Train and coach local working staff on problem-solving andquality production techniques relevant to Paint Shop processes.
