We are looking for candidates for the Head of Supply Chain position at a Large Manufacturing Multinational Company.
Position Title: Head of Supply Chain

Salary: About 350K to 650K (Note: This figure includes a car allowance)
Essential Requirements:
–Currently Head of Supply Chain or Procurement Department – or one-step below
–Recent experience in FMCG, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Fertilizer, Cement, Oil/Petroleum – or similar sectors
–Recent experience in large multinational (or similar) organization
Other Requirements/Preferences:
— MBA or B.Sc. Engineering from a reputed local or international
institution, 12-15 years of relevant experience, preferably in FMCG or
industrial manufacturing MNC environment.
— Min Experience 12 -15 years of relevant experience with minimum 4
years at managerial level.

— ERP knowledge (Preferred)
— Generic Skills: Ability to interpret goals to strategy and strategy
to plans, Must be excellent in using Microsoft Office, Excellent
communication, report writing, and presentation skills
JOB PURPOSE:
— Manage all supply chain management activities, including supplier
management, material planning, procurement, order fulfillment,
managing contracts, transport (for effective & efficient
distribution), and inventory. Plays a key role in setting company
strategy in order to ensure the cost-effective flow of materials.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
— Key Result Area: General Management of Supply Chain
— Develop and implement a global supply chain management strategy.
— Develop a high quality and cost-effective supply base.
— Establish an inventory management plan that optimizes asset
utilization and order fulfillment flexibility.
— Establish a logistics plan to ensure timely and cost-effective shipments.
— Manage the order fulfillment process from material forecasting,
supply planning, master scheduling, purchasing, order shipment, and
distribution.
— Provide drive, vision, leadership, guidance, and support to the
Supply Chain Management Team.
— Maintain master schedule systems to ensure accurate and timely
information with coordination from Finance, Commercial, and Operation
Departments
— Ensure the lowest total cost of ownership (Inventory turns, cash to
cash cycles, freight costs, freight
recovery, internal-external logistics costs)
— Leading the re-engineering of LP’s existing distribution model in
terms of international & national presence, customer satisfaction and
total cost of ownership in line with our strategic direction.
— Creating best in class integrated processes among Sales,
Operations, Purchasing, Logistics, and outside suppliers to execute
the planning/fulfillment & distribution process.
— Recruit the right team members with the collaboration of Line
manager and HR Department in order to ensure the skill set of team
members that can address the departmental needs
— Coach and train team members on existing and new concepts,
technology and functionality to pave their way towards the successful
achievement of the functional objectives of the team, thus playing a
role in the enhancement of the technical skill set of an individual
and improving the growth of an individual towards positive attitude.
— Monitor performance of all team members in order to identify the
difference between expected level of productivity and actual
productivity.
— Review and approve all the operational activities of team members.
— Keep motivation level high among all team members to bring the best
out of them.
— Keep a conducive and learning environment among all team members in
order to ensure a healthy, friendly, productive and supportive
environment.
— Ensure that each member is adhering to the policies and procedures
announced by the management.
COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
— Team Leaders, Manager, Head of Departments and Directors of all the
departments to clarify the queries related to Supply Chain Department
— Negotiate terms and conditions during the finalization of contracts
with the stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
