We are hiring - DEPUTY MANAGER ACCOUNTS
Number of position(s): 01 | Location: Head Office, Karachi
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Education: ACCA / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.
. Experience: Minimum 6-8 years' experience in Accounts Receivable, Taxation, and Financial Reporting. Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP and advanced MS Excel.
. Relevant Industry: Manufacturing. Textile, Electrical and Electronic appliances.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITES:
. Manage and oversee the complete Accounts Receivable (AR) function including invoicing, customer reconciliations, collections monitoring, age analysis, refunds, and receivable reporting.
. Ensure timely monthly. quarterly. and annual financial closings of the Receivable Module, including reconciliations. journal entries, statutory schedules, and coordination with external auditors.
. Manage sales tax operations including preparation and filing of monthly/annual sales tax returns, reconciliation of sales tax accounts, provincial withholding declarations, and compliance with FBR, SRB, and PRA requirements.
. Monitor customer outstanding balances, collection follow-ups, advance adjustments, dealer deposits, and provide regular reporting to Sales, Treasury, and senior management for effective cash flow management.
. Lead process improvements and system enhancements within Oracle Receivable Module including automation initiatives, e-commerce support. transaction methods, and AR/AP netting processes.
. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, audit observations, and internal control procedures while supporting annual accounts, AGM presentations, and financial reporting requirements.
. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Treasury, Taxation, and Operations while providing training and guidance to internal stakeholders on receivable processes and controls.
