WI HR CONSULTANT requires Dynamic Social Compliance Manager at a Renowned Textile Company at Karachi
Qualifications:
· Masters's degree in Social Environmental Sciences, Environmental Management, Business Administration, Labor Laws, or a related field.
· Extensive knowledge of international labor standards, ethical sourcing, sustainability, and social compliance regulations.
· Certification in Social Compliance (e.g., SA8000, WRAP, SEDEX and etc.) along with Customer COC Audit.
· Strong understanding of the textile industry and its unique compliance challenges.
Experience:
· Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in social compliance, preferably within the textile industry.
· Preparation of Corrective and Preventive Action Plan against Highlighted issues in Audits.
· Execellent command of Compensation & Benefits issues and its practicality.
· Proven track record of implementing and managing compliance programs, conducting audits, and driving continuous improvement.
· Experience in collaborating with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and external organizations to ensure compliance with ethical standards.
· Familiarity with risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to social compliance.
· Knowledge about the execution of Higg Index FEM, FSLM, ZDHC Gateway, Cleanchain & BHive operation and Management.
Job Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement social compliance policies and procedures in alignment with global industry standards and local regulations.
· Conduct regular audits and assessments of suppliers, manufacturing facilities, and supply chain partners to ensure compliance with ethical, social, and environmental requirements.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to educate and raise awareness of social compliance principles and practices.
· Provide guidance and support to suppliers to improve their social compliance performance and drive positive changes.
· Monitor and report on compliance metrics, incidents, and trends to senior management and stakeholders.
· Stay updated on changes in legislation, industry best practices, and emerging trends related to social compliance, integrating this knowledge into company policies and strategies.
· Independently manage customer Code of Conduct and social certification audits while ensuring adherence to ethical and social standards
Salary : 250,000-350,000 with other benefits
