Position: Electrical Engineer

Location : Sachal Wind Power Project, Jhimpir, Sindh

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Electrical Engineers to join our operations team at the Sachal Wind Power Project. The Engineer is responsible for real-time monitoring, control, and reporting of WTGs, EBOP, and GIS switchgear systems. This role ensures safe, and efficient operations of the wind farm through SCADA-based supervision, fault analysis, and coordination with NPCC, RCC (South), and other regulatory authorities. The engineer is also responsible for maintaining comprehensive documentation and reporting in compliance with EPA and Grid Code and other government portals

Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E.)
. Minimum 2 years of experience in power sector (Preferably wind)
. Proficiency in SCADA systems and fault diagnostics
. Understanding of grid operations, EPA compliance, and reporting standards
. Familiarity with NEPRA, CPPA, NPCC, and ISMO portals
. Strong understanding of grid operations and coordination with NPCC/RCC.
. Ability to calculate NPMV and prepare NPEs
. Knowledge of PTW issuance and LOTO procedures under EHS compliance.
. Strong command of MS Excel, reporting tools, and data analysis
· Effective communication and coordination skills
. Willingness to work in rotational shifts including nights and weekends.

Key Responsibilities
. Monitor the overall operation of GIS switchgear and all equipment in the switchyard.
. Analyze alarms, faults, and performance trends to identify operational abnormalities
. Communicate with NPCC, and RCC (South) for grid compliance and load dispatch instructions
· Update ISMO (SDXP) portal with NPCC dispatch instructions, grid tripping events, and hourly load data.
. Update NEPRA DX-portal for KPIs and CPPA portal for hourly availability and generation.
. Submit daily export to grid reports and wind forecasts to NPCC.
. Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports including (Maintenance records, fault logs, and outage summaries)
. Ensure accurate documentation of grid curtailments, trip events, and restoration timelines
. Permit to Work (PTWs) and ensure Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures are followed.
. Ensure full compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) policies during control room and field operations.
. Maintain detailed shift logs including turbine availability, plant availability, faults, production, and grid status.
· Ensure adherence to NEPRA, NPCC, and EPA operational standards.
