REGULAR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES  

·         Preparation of all kinds of media /reagents / stains

·         Analyze laboratory findings

·         Conduct parasitological and serological analysis of urine and blood

·         Processing of all Routine Microbiological Samples

·         Antibiotic Susceptibility processing

·         Check the accuracy of results

·         Calibrate and operate all instruments in the microbiology Lab

·         Run internal quality controls on daily basis and also run EQA samples

·         Inform all abnormal results to related Dr/ Staff/ Senior/ Supervisor

·         Proper storage of samples and bacterial / fungal culture

·         Issuance of reports

·         Rejection of tests if required

·         Rejection of samples on certain criteria prescribed in SOPs

 

PERIODIC DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (Monthly Quarterly, Biannually, Annual)

·         Maintenance of stock of kits, consumables etc.

·         Maintenance of Data

·         Monthly maintenance of analyzers according to Maintenance Procedures.

·         Weekly maintenance log

·         If any error/ problem occurs in any analyzer, communication with supplier’s Biomedical Department and Engineers.
