WE ARE HIRING - MANAGER CORPORATE GOVERNANCE
We are seeking an experienced Manager - Corporate Affairs to join our team at AL Habib Asset Management Limited. Manager Corporate Affairs will be responsible for managing secretarial compliances for the Company, and the Funds under its management in accordance with applicable laws.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Company Secretary in organizing Board and shareholders' meetings, preparing agenda papers, notices, and other relevant documents.
- Circulate notices, allied documents and minutes of the board and general meetings to the directors and shareholders in a timely manner.
- Assist the Company Secretary in ensuring compliance with the companies Act, the Code of Corporate Governance Regulations, NBFC Regulations, CDC Regulations, and other applicable laws.
- File various documents/forms with the registrar, regulator, PSX, etc., on a timely basis.
- Collaborate with legal counsel and lawyers to address statutory and legal matters of the Company.
- Draft relevant agreements, contracts, and any other related documents.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law or related field (from a reputable university) -
Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) or similar professional qualifications
Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Location: Karachi - Head Office.
COMPENSATION: Market competitive compensation package will be offered.
