JOB PURPOSE

 

The incumbent will be responsible for collection of blood samples in hospital and community settings. S/he will also be reporting daily blood collection progress and updates through maintaining logs in coordination with lab.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collect blood samples for Interferon-Gamma Release Assays (IGRA) testing.
  • Responsible for documentation of blood sample collection.
  • Maintain patient records.
  • Coordinate with lab for sample submission and processing.
  • Collect blood samples efficiently and follow proper storage procedure.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSA)

Required Qualification

  • Minimum Intermediate, Certification in Phlebotomy/Nursing will be preferred.

Required Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience in blood collection.

Required Skills

  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent patient service and patient relationship skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Experienced in field of phlebotomy
