We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior AR Specialist to oversee our medical billing operations. This role is ideal for someone who is not only a strong leader but also a hands-on expert in managing the entire revenue cycle for medical practices—ensuring maximum reimbursement, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage a billing team specializing in denials, appeals, and complex claims.
Oversee out-of-network billing processes, applying all relevant balance billing regulations.
Ensure strict compliance with commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare insurance guidelines.
Independently manage the complete revenue cycle, from claim creation to payment posting and follow-up.
Analyze denial patterns, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective strategies.
Negotiate with payers to secure maximum reimbursement based on UCR rates and contract rules.
Track, analyze, and report KPIs (e.g., denial rates, turnaround times, collections).

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Medical Billing, Health Administration, or related field.
3+ years of hands-on experience in denial management and out-of-network billing.
Proven ability to manage the full revenue cycle independently.
Strong knowledge of insurance billing rules and payer-specific policies.
Expertise in UCR rates, payer negotiations, and appeals.
Proficiency in EHR/PM systems and billing software.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
