Position Title: Shift Engineer Utilities (Executive – Deputy Manager)
Location: Plant Site, Karachi
The ideal candidate should have:
· B.Sc / BE Chemical Engineering from a recognized institution
· 02 to 09 years of experience in fertilizer sector
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
Operations
· Ensure consistent operation of Utilities plant in shifts.
· Control and handle non-conforming products, enhance capacity, service factors and safety of plant to ensure smooth operations at Utilities plant.
Downtime Management
· Ensure safe, consistent, and efficient operations of the Utilities plants and reduce downtime through regular audits.
· In case of emergency at Utilities plant, leading shift crew, assess the problem and organizes a safe shutdown.
· Investigate the root cause of the problem and suggest solutions to avoid reoccurrence in future.
Safe Operations
· Improve the operational systems, processes, and policies to ensure safe Utilities plant operations.
· Conduct D-level meetings / emergency discussions for good preparedness.
