Overview:
Descon Power Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Lead Engineer to oversee the operations and maintenance of our wind power plant located in the Gharo. The Site Lead Engineer will be responsible for managing and3 supervising the maintenance and operations team to ensure efficient and reliable electrical balance of the wind power plant.

-Provide strong leadership and direction to the maintenance and operations team.
-Supervise and coordinate team activities for smooth wind power plant operations.
-Conduct regular team meetings and performance evaluations to drive continuous improvement.
-Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance activities.
-Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures for maximum plant availability and reliability.
-Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, coordinating with stakeholders for timely resolution.
-Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
-Conduct regular safety inspections and audits, implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks.
-Provide technical support and guidance on complex systems.
-Collaborate with engineering teams to implement improvements and upgrades.
-Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements.
-Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
-Prepare reports and analysis on plant performance, downtime, and maintenance costs.
-Foster positive relationships with customers and stakeholders.
-Act as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring timely resolution.
-Coordinate procurement of technical parts and services.
-Evaluate suppliers and negotiate contracts for cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
-Possess strong computer-related knowledge and proficiency in relevant software applications.
-Hands-on experience with SCADA systems for monitoring and controlling plant operations.
-Prepare and deliver presentations to management and stakeholders.
-Demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills.
-Delegate responsibilities appropriately and empower team members.
-Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of wind power plants.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, turbines, and associated equipment.
- Proven leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards applicable to wind power generation.
