Purpose & Key Actions
To assist R&D Manager in modifying existing products and processes or develop new ones along with replacement of raw materials to minimize production wastage and reduce cost of existing products to improve quality of products
Job Description Summary
• Conduct study for New Product Development processes based on Product Development Committee’s (PDC’s SID) approved briefs
• Manage the complete process of prototype development for finalization of product
• Manage the commercialization of New Product Development
• Conduct Product Improvement study of improved development
• Conduct Process Improvement studies for development of operational-friendly and efficient processes, based on customer (internal) and consumer (external) queries/problems and improvement needs suggested by the Management
• Manage alternate Vendor Development for improvement of quality and multiplicity of procurement sources
• Conduct research study on Waste Utilization Projects
