Skills – Hands on experience on Solaris 10.
Here Solaris 10 is mandatory
-Perform Basic System Setup
-Perform Boot server configuration
-Implement Saudia installation standards
-Review of Saudia standards, (e.g. root disc layout; distribution packs; time zones)
-First configuration after first reboot (banner files; host files; profiles; SSH)
-Set up and manage Zones (including projects)
-Installing Software and adding patches
– Firmware,
-OS (kernel patches, new device drivers, …),
-Manage incident & problems (Trouble-shooting)
-Networks (IP Multipathing)
-Perform regular Health Checklist
-Manage performance
-Security
-Backups
-Maintaining local documentation
