The position is responsible to perform the following:

– Carry out various Engineering activities in analyzing and resolving problems of technical nature in his respective area of specialization.
– Will be involved in the planning, prioritizing, execution and monitoring of engineering activities / projects, reporting work progress, problem analysis & trouble shooting, predictive maintenance and problem anticipation.
– Will participate in studies investigations and projects, maintain contact with process licensees / equipment manufacturers, provide specifications with regard to procurement, contract coordination and bid evaluation.
– Will do inter-departmental level studies, improvement projects and focus in areas and problems common to all plants.
– Should provide technical support for the department and cover for technical positions within Production.

REQUIREMENTS: 
– Bachelors Degree in relevant Engineering Discipline from a recognized University.
– Minimum 8 Years of experience in a large scale Ammonia/Urea plant within Fertilizer Industry, out which 5 years of experience in QAFCO
– Good experience in carrying out various chemical engineering calculations with hands on experience on specialized tools (like Aspen Plus simulation, HTFS, HTRI)
– Ability to conduct Techno-Economic Feasibility report on new ideas/projects.
