Regional Procurement Manager – UAE

AL FUTTAIM TARMAC QUARRY PRODUCTS LLC – An International Quarry Products Company is looking for a professional candidate – REGIONAL PROCUREMENT MANAGER – Tarmac Middle East has a total turnover budget of around US $ 210 m for 2010. The business currently operates in the UAE, Oman and Qatar.

This will be a challenging position where you will have full responsibility to manage regional procurement activities as a professional, efficient and effective, value adding, high performing, sourcing and ordering operation.

Reporting to the Regional Director of Tarmac Middle East, the successful applicant should be able to drive cost saving initiatives within the business while maintaining effective relationships across the Company, acting as a credible face of procurement to the local leadership.

He should also demonstrate high degree of commercial experience, proven leadership of cross functional teams and exceptional influencing, persuasion and negotiation skills.

Expertise in commodity management processes, procurement best practice and 5-7 years procurement
experience in the Middle East are important to be a successful applicant.

A bachelor’s degree is essential whereas a postgraduate degree or a professional qualification in P & SC would be desirable but not essential.
