TITLE : English Language Instructor

Experience: 3 to 5 years
JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. To meet every class session promptly and ready for that sessions instruction.
2. Maintain necessary attendance, scholastic and student records, and submit them according to published guidelines.
3. Provide individual support and attention to students as required and through tutorials and individual meetings.
4. Actively participate in meetings as required.
5. Complete, in a timely and accurate manner, all required forms such as those related to attendance, grade reports, exam reports, student advising forms and all other assigned educational materials.
6. Effectively invigilate and mark all exams.
7. Adhere to and enforce institutional rules.
8. Encourage the development of communication skills and higher order thinking skills through appropriate assignments.
9. Maintain confidentiality of student information.
10. Facilitate a safe, positive and supportive learning environment.
11. Ensure that all educational activity is conducted in an ethical manner.
SKILLS:
– Excellent Communication (specifically Public Speaking) and Interpersonal Skills
– Proficient in MS Office applications
– A desire to support and motivate students throughout their academic career.
– Proficient in using the latest technology and teaching techniques e.g. case learning, active class participation and group learning
