JOB SUMMARY:   
The position is located in the Commercial & Logistic Department based at Head Office. This position reports to Manager who  reports to Deputy General Manager Commercial & Logistic. The purpose is to perform the activities of Import Department.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Recording of all documentation related to Imports.
  • Handling shipping documents of imports and after scrutiny pass them to the clearing agent.
  •  Generating reports from data entries as per Director’s requirement & Departmental Internal Customers
  •  Coordinate with clearing agent for timely clearance of imported consignments
  •  Coordinate with Banks for L/c establishment and Retirement of  Original Documents
  • Liaison with Transporter for timely transportation of imported consignments
  •  Liaison with Shipping agent to check the status of vessel   Expected Arrival
  • Assist departmental Head in preparation of monthly Budget & presentations
  •  Prepare & submit daily departmental budget
  •  Prepare and submit sale tax return for the department
  •  Prepare Delivery Order & Sale Tax invoice for Fiber Sales
  •  Prepare Actual costing for Goods Dispatch Accounting Purpose
  •  Prepare Dispatch advice for relevant consignment
  •  Check demand from clearing agent for custom dues
  •  Check & forward Bills for Transporters.
  •  Check & forward Bills for Insurance Policy

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:     B.Com.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:              Nil

REQUIRED SKILLS:              MS Office
