JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To plan, organize and control the import/export department affairs.
• Requisition of quotations.
• Placement of Purchase orders
• Preparation and submission of L/C in the banks
• Checking of L/C terms and conditions after opening and fax/email to suppliers; Making amendments in L/C if required.
• Arrangements regarding forwarding of consignments from other countries.
• Follow up of shipments
• Handling of shipping documents
• Consignments clearance from customs.
• Transportation arrangements.
• To coordinate with Production Planning department/inventory department for in time import of material/ supplies.
• Arrangements of foreign tours.
• New Business negotiations and development
