Experience
Security Specialist
Engaged as Security Specialist (Sindh / KPK / Baluchistan, Pakistan) on all cycles of operations the three
Provinces. The scope of work covers following:
a. Formulate and implement a comprehensive security plan to mitigate the identified threats ensuring smooth conduct of operations, keeping in mind the evolving security situation.
b. Supervision of the implementation of approved security plan and ensure that Security arrangements are implemented strictly in accordance with the SOP.
c. Collection and dissemination of security related information to all concerned and formulate / implement a security plan based on threat.
d. Coordinate regular monitoring of security agencies deployed with PPL during all phases of operations.
e. Constant liaison with Government authorities for smooth conduct of operations.
f. Constant liaison with Government functionaries / local tribal influential’s for smooth conduct of operations.
g. Execute and supervisor all tasks related to security or any other tasks assigned due to operational requirement of the company of well site; as directed.
h. Apprise management regarding the security arrangements on daily basis and seek advice wherever applicable.
I. Risk / vulnerability assessment of PPL assets / areas of interest including expatriates involved in PPL operations.
J. Carry out periodic survey / audit of PPL assets including gas fields, pipelines and other infrastructure to enhance security.
K. Asses and recommend installation of electronic surveillance / security systems and their effective installation for operations in area of operations.
L. Conduct security briefings for expatriates / PPL and services companies staff involved in all stages of operations.
M. Review, revise and improve security arrangements of expatriates with special focus on travelling / movements within various destinations / area of operations.
