My name is Umair Ud Din and I have done Mechanical Engineering from University of Lahore. In my 4 years bachelors degree I did 2 Internships and 1 internship after graduation. Before starting my bachelors degree I did a job as a teacher to gain some personal teaching experience.
Currently I am working in Fabcon Design and Engineering (PVT) Ltd as a Design Engineer.

1) Making Estimation Sheets & BOQ’s for Pressure Vessels and API Tanks from Drawings.
2) Designing of Pedestrian Bridge & PEB’s on SAP SOFTWARE and analyse the model after applying Loads.
3) Designing of Runway Beams & Girders for EOT Cranes.
4) Sending Inquiries to China for the components for Boilers, PEB’s & Octagonal Pole Production machines.
5) Making Quotations for the Clients related to the Inquiries/Tenders.
6) Reading Designing Codes for the PEB’s, Pressure Vessels, EOT Cranes & API Tanks.
My main aim is to do a job in well known company and to stay there for a longer period of time as I can learn and grow Professionally there and proove productive for the company as well.

Final Year Project : Designing of Autonomous Underwater Vehicle using SONAR TECHNOLOGY
Description : Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) are an advanced form of underwater
vehicles that act more like an underwater robot. The need of AUVs is to minimize the need of human interaction with the machine and enable the machine to figure out its path using state of the art technology to carry out its journey. The objective of an AUV is to provide a complete solution i.e. mission planning, execution, data analysis and report generation. Less human interaction means no humans to accompany the vehicle underwater and to control it wirelesly from the land or if given the technology work autonomously.
