Senior and Junior SQA Engineers are Required for US Based Project

SQA Engineers to work on Rich Media Platform, using the following Lates Tools, Technologies and Platforms, at our Karachi-Pakistan office

 

  • .NET 3.5
  • Windows Communication Foundation
  • Windows Workflow Foundation
  • Web Services
  • Microsoft Silverlight 2
  • MS Live authentication
  • MS Live Streaming Services
  • Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007
  • Identity LifeCycle Manager (ILM) 2007
  • SQL Server 2005
  • Team Foundation Server
  • Visual Studio 2008 Team Edition
  • Microsoft Project Server 2007 (for enterprise project management)
  • Microsoft Office Communication Server 2007
  • Microsoft Virtual Server 2007
  • Microsoft Forefront, Exchange 2007, ISA 2007
  • Automated Testing using Visual Studio Team System

 

Required Skills:

  • Good understanding of QC, QA, Analysis
  • Sound Programming skills, SDLC and Automated Testing
  • Must have strong UML, SQL, T-SQL skills
  • Programming experience in C#, ASP.NET ADO.Net, ADO, Classic ASP, HTML, JavaScript/ VBScript and UI testing.
  • Ability to work with development engineers to define, develop, and integrate automated tests in the selected test suite.
  • Must understand OOA/OOD.
  • Ability to work with software managers to create test plans and test improvement projects, including work break downs & detailed planning.
  • Ability to train and educate technical personnel in automated test processes.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Develop pro-active solutions to improve SW test efficiency, support project development & integrating efforts with distributed teams, and implement process and quality improvements

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Good knowledge and understanding of difference between various recorded/live Media Delivery Protocols, Media Formats, Media Codecs etc.
  • Knowledge and/or experience of tools and third party online streaming services used for recorded/live Multimedia Content Development and Delivery e.g. Microsoft Expression Encoder, Windows Media Server, Microsoft Silverlight Streaming Service etc.
  • Knowledge about tools and services used for Multimedia Content Protection e.g. DRM, Play Ready etc. will be plus
