Position: Software Quality Assurance – Karachi
NexDegree is looking for an Engineer who is committed, self-motivated and experienced in Software Quality Assurance. The QA Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the quality standard of Web applications/Software, to write test cases and conduct thorough testing of Web applications/Software.
Job Responsibilities
The QA Engineer will:
– Be involved in SDLC from design to release, in a fast pace quality driven environment
– Be responsible for testing, automating, and improving the reliability of web and windows based applications.
– Be responsible for performing functional, integration, system and load/performance testing of web products.
– Develop and execute test plans.
– Test for database bugs and data integrity.
– Identify and document bugs, Verify corrections, track bugs, and report bug metrics.
– Identify security flaws
– Develop and maintain performance tests
Qualification: BS/ BCS in computer science or information systems.
Experience: 2+ years
Skills Required
– Excellent analytical & problem solving skills and good verbal and written communication skills.
– Understanding of Quality Assurance and testing processes.
– Understanding of SDLC.
Compensation: Negotiable, based on experience and expertise
