ERP Support Representative Support Analyst

Job Outline:
Supporting ERP and other business applications. This vacancy offers the opportunity to develop business analysis and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Providing 1st and 2nd line support for Microsoft Dynamics AX or Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. Enhancing current system by adding new capabilities as needed.
• Supporting other key business systems/platforms such as SQL Server, Power Platform, Reporting, OS troubleshooting.
• Gathering and documenting business requirements, designing and implementing ERP solutions, coordinating and supporting UAT and post go live along with “How To” user guides.
• Working with clients at a variety of levels and proactive partnership with colleagues in the IT team.

Personal Specification:
It is essential that all candidates have the following skills and experiences:
• Minimum IT degree (Computer Science or equivalent BSc, MSc, BEng, MEng).
• Minimum of 2 years’ supporting and maintaining ERP systems.
o Microsoft Dynamics AX / Dynamics 365 preferred
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server technologies (SQL Server, Backup/Restore, Reporting services).
• Proven knowledge of software development lifecycles and track record of successful implementations.
• Strong customer focus. Ability to understand and communicate complex issues clearly and concisely.
• Strong interpersonal skills. Experience of dealing with third party software suppliers and internal business project teams to deliver quality & timely results.
• High self-motivation and the ability to deliver a high level of customer support.
The following attributes are considered desirable, but not essential for the role:
• Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services, Analysis Services and PowerBI.
• Programming languages (X++, .NET) and IDE’s (Visual Studio).
• Microsoft SharePoint Server
