Hiring: Lead Procurement - Packaging Material
We need an experienced resource for Lead Procurement position with specialization in Packaging material and a master degree in Supply Chain Management. This position is based at our Head Office, Karachi city.
Job Description
- Develop new vendors in cartons, LD/LLD/PP bags/sheets, wooden & other packaging
- Bring value addition thru spec optimization and R&D on selected items for cost savings.
- Negotiate cost and manage supplier relationships.
- Check/approve POs, follow up & get on-time supplies.
- Ensure quality by regular visits to plants & vendors.
- Conduct online sourcing events on ARIBA e-sourcing platform.
Requirements
Ideal candidate must have 5 to 10 years experience in packaging procurement and SAP ERP system.
